[ORLANDO, Fla. – 3/26/2010] – The Consumer Electronics Association’s (CEA®) announced that Charleston, SC based eLifespaces captured four top electronic integrator awards in the 2010 Mark of Excellence Awards presented by CEA’s TechHome Division. The winners were recognized at an awards banquet this evening at the eleventh annual Electronic House Expo (EHX) Spring 2010.

Competing among technology companies nationwide, eLifespaces was awarded Home of the Year Project, Integrated Security Project of the Year, Lighting Control Project of the Year and the Luxury Home of the Year Project categories. “We’re speechless. It was our privilege to have served our customers so well, thank you,” said Fred Fabian, eLifespaces’ President.

CEA's Mark of Excellence Awards honor excellence in innovation and achievement in custom home electronics products, services and installation technologies. These industry leaders are the ones instrumental in changing the shape of the connected home.

Judging Mark of Excellence entries is by a four-member panel comprised of systems integrators, manufacturers, members of the trade press, and industry consultants. Each entry is given a numeric score and the entry with the highest score in each category is named a TechHome Mark of Excellence Awards winner.

Over the past several years, eLifespaces has been awarded multiple CEA Mark of Excellence awards. Later in the evening, Fabian had a few more comments, “Our team has some truly wonderful homeowners and is incredibly honored and thankful to them and our industry. This year we were also honored to be considered with the larger companies in a new category, ‘Software Application of the Year.’ Being Apple iPad/iPhone application developers, we have embraced this new frontier for integrators, a frontier that demands expansion of skills beyond our traditional role in electronics systems contracting.” Over the years, electronics have become much more complex and customers' options have grown exponentially, but eLifespaces’ focus on personal attention and evolving service remains the same.
